3. Specification of Products & Guarantee
3.1. The warranty does not cover any damage caused to Goods by:
adverse weather conditions, wind, rain, or other forces of nature,
accidents during improper assembly/disassembly or adjustment during setup or takedown, caused by user or third party.
or any abuse, misuse, or neglect by the user or third party.
3.2. Craft Garden Sheds Ltd warrants that at the time of delivery the Goods will be consistent with their specification and free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery/installation.
10 years anti-rot warranty applies only to timber used to build the Product.
3.3. All sizes quoted are external sizes. Sizes quoted on our website or by our sales team are for informational purposes only. All sheds are hand-made and we will work to match your required size as much as possible, however, small differences may occur.
3.4. All pictures on our website are for informational purposes only. They do not show “your Product”. We build each timber Product in line with the Customer’s specification, using different batches of wood supplies, which may result in colour variances between products. Please also note that Product colours may vary depending on the device/display/individual user settings you are using. We strive to picture the Products as accurately as possible. Should you wish to see a more specific picture of a Product, please contact us directly and we will aim to meet your request where possible.
3.5. Wood is a naturally variable raw material; these variances are not considered defects as they are outside our control. Grain features like open grain, knots, and/or medullary rays are all naturally occurring traits and will not be considered grounds for order rejection by a Customer.
3.6. Our prices do not include the cost of removing your old shed. We may agree to remove the old shed in individual cases, however, this service will be subject to extra charge raised and approved at Management’s discretion.
3.7. It is the Customer’s responsibility to provide the concrete foundation/base or supply concrete slabs where required. It is also required that the installation area be cleared and leveled by the Customer prior to the arrival of the Installation Team. We highly recommend to always build a concrete foundation/use concrete slabs under the Product. While it is ultimately the Customer’s choice, we do not take the responsibility for any damages to Products installed on soft ground.
Products are installed in the exact place indicated by the Customer. Should you require the Product to be moved after initial installation, please contact us to arrange a suitable time. This service is charged separately to the initial installation.
3.8. As a part of our offer we can provide a “security pack” with special screws, hinges, and locking systems. While the elements of the pack are designed to “resist” a burglary longer than standard hinges, screws, and locking systems, they do not guarantee the shed will not be broken into. Craft Garden Sheds Ltd accepts no liability for your losses resulting from a potential burglary into your shed, even when we install a “security pack”.
3.9. Craft Garden Sheds Ltd accepts no liability in the case the Customer at his/her own discretion makes any alterations to the original Product specification – those required to comply with applicable safety and/or statutory requirement or otherwise, or those which do not materially affect the quality and fitness for purpose of the Goods.
3.10. Craft Garden Sheds Ltd accepts no liability in regards of any defect resulting from fair wear and tear, negligence, wilful damage, misuse and abnormal working conditions, failure to follow the Seller's instructions (oral or in writing), as well as any alteration or repair of the Goods without the Seller's approval
3.11. Craft Garden Sheds Ltd accepts no liability under the above warranty (or any other warranty, condition, or guarantee) in case the total price for the Goods has not been paid in full by the due date.
3.12. In rare cases where the Products delivered are not the Products ordered by the Customer (including substitute Products), the Customer may reject the Products. Whether the delivery is refused by the Customer or not, they must notify the Seller of any claim (regarding general product condition, quality defect, and/or failure to meet the specification) on the date of delivery. In case the delivery is not refused by the Customer and they fail to notify the Seller accordingly, it is deemed that the Product had been delivered in accordance with the Contract and the Customer must pay the price in full.
3.13. Other than in respect of death or personal injury caused by the Seller's negligence, the Seller will not be liable to the Customer by reason of any representation, condition or another term, or any implied warranty, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the Contract, for any consequential damage or loss (whether for loss of profit of otherwise), which arise from or in relation to the supply of the Goods and/or their use and/or resale by the Customer, except as explicitly provided in these Conditions.
3.14. Please note that our warranty doesn’t cover timber natural discoloration. Timber is a natural product and if not secured with oil-based treatment will change color when is under direct impact of weather conditions. It is the customer’s responsibility to secure/preserve timber against weather conditions. We highly recommend painting/using oil-based treatment that will penetrate the structure of the timber and will create a barrier against insects and water/rain.
4.Liability
4.1. Where the Customer notifies the Seller of an issue related to delivery of Goods within 30 days from delivery, the Seller will
address any shortage/non-delivery,
or provide replacement or repair in case the Goods are deemed damaged/defective upon delivery,
or refund the amount paid by the Customer for the Goods in question.
4.2. The Seller accepts no liability to pay the Customer any money by way of compensation other than a refund we make under these conditions. In no event will our liability to you include losses related to any business of yours (such as loss of profits or business interruption) and we will not be held liable to you for any other loss, which is not a foreseeable consequence of us being in breach of the Terms and Conditions or our legal duties.
4.3. This is not intended to affect your statutory consumer rights, nor to exclude our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
4.4. We sell all Products in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and they are subject to any requirements, representations, or instructions included in the documentation associated with the Products.
4.5. If you are a trade Customer and subject to Clause 6.3, we will not be liable to you or any other person you are undertaking work for, for the use or installation of any Products by you. Consequently, if you are a trade Customer, you hereby agree to hold us harmless and indemnify us against any liability associated with any claim and/or allegation that we are responsible for any issues related to installation or use of Products we supply.

Should the delivery fail because of circumstances within your reasonable control, the cost of any re-delivery shall be carried by you. Our delivery service is available Monday to Friday only, No deliveries provided on bank holidays.
6.8. To enable installation service for a garden shed or other garden building, you must provide suitable access, as well as a flat, level and square base that can carry considerable weight. It is not within our remit to inspect the suitability of the said base to support the garden building without ground movement. As such we will not check the integrity of the base. For the installation to be performed you need to ensure the site is cleared of overhanging branches and/or other obstructions. We will also require sufficient unobstructed access to the site for the safe performance of any works required. Should the installation team come across access or base suitability issues, you will be deemed responsible for the aborted labour costs. The Goods will be left for you to self-assemble.
If a return installation service is required, additional charge must be paid in advance of the service being provided. The installer’s vehicle needs to be parked as close as possible to the installation site. It is your responsibility to ensure availability of relevant parking area. Should you fail to do so, the installation may be abandoned in which case return charges may be applicable.

We kindly advise keeping all packaging if you are considering returning an item. If the returned item meets the above conditions, we will aim to issue your refund within 14 days of the date we received it. Refunds will only issue in the same form as the payment made (we will refund money only to the card/account used at the time of purchase).
